Nursery...Sort of

As promised, here is a picture of our pseudo nursery. It's not really a separate room but a big alcove in our bedroom that we used to use as a closet of sorts. It's big enough to accommodate a baby for a while and this way we can still use our second bedroom for an office/study/sewing room. Once our baby has a name I'll hang her initials from the little plaque above the changing table. The cradle is a family heirloom and I am one of the many people who slept in it as a baby. All the names and birthdays of babies who used it are written on the bottom of the frame. Well, that's the tour. The "room" is small but adequate and it makes me feel good to have a place for our baby.

Bea-u-t-ful. So cute, it's the perfect size for your little one when she comes! We anxiously await news of your labor!

I love it! So when is that little one going to be here to occupy it? I'm getting excited for you both :)

Now I need you to come and decorate a space for our little guy. We're insane. We have a toddler and a baby on the way, and still no nursery. But seriously, you have done a beautiful job! Hope you don't have to be pregnant much longer. It's so uncomfortable at the end!

Small but adequate? Not! It is adorable. I love the baskets and all the pretty details. We cannot wait for that pretty girl who is going to be sleeping there. Ok, we hope she will sleep at least some of the time. Keep blogging- it is fun to have a daily update while we all count down.

Katrina!! Your nursery looks great! I am impressed that you were able to make so much room for her. Good luck with the delivery. I miss you and we miss the ward, but we love our new life in CA.
